Support team

These are some stick insects that were used for experiments presented herein. They were always given their 'favourite' food (privet) and they were treated with care. After they were recorded walking in the arena the paint used for their marks was removed (the paint is water soluble and non-toxic)

There is no regulation for experimenting with insects. Nonetheless, these insects enjoyed a "sporty" and healthy life. Their final days they spent just eating and sleeping all day whilst I was writing! They all significantly contributed to the progress of science.
